This is a personal pilgrimage I take every year.

I take this journey to humble my being and return me to the root of my existence.

Each year I hike the mountain barefoot but that is not a requirement.

I climb barefoot in order to deepen my connection to mountain.

And experience pain as the teacher.

On this journey we will be ingesting 

One of the holiest and first sacraments to grace the Earth

This journey has been and will remain the foundation of my spiritual experience.
